Energy Efficiency Tax Credit Ends Soon!

The Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credit (part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=tax_credits.tx_index) officially ends on December 31, 2010. This program has been a very effective piece of the marketing and sales for our business over the past two years. It has helped hundreds of our customers take advantage of energy efficient upgrades, thereby reducing their monthly energy bills by up to 30% and improving comfort and indoor air quality throughout their home. At our current production levels, we are effectively taking one entire home off of the local energy grid (cumulative energy savings for an average of 4 homes per week with 25% energy savings). Can you imagine that in one year we could take the equivalent of an entire neighborhood off the energy grid!

Much of our success can be directly attributed to the Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credit. At the current time (and mood of the new legislative shift), it does not appear that these tax credits will be extended. That is very unfortunate when you can clearly see that the program was extremely effective at reducing the local energy consumption / overall carbon footprint and stimulating the local economy.

So act now to take advantage of this program before the December 31, 2010 deadline. You too can reduce your monthly energy bills by up to 30% and improve the comfort and indoor air quality throughout your home!
